I was lucky enough to visit the fantastic Home Barn in Little Marlow this week. It is fabulous, and, if like me, you have a passion for reclaimed, industrial, vintage furniture and amazing finds for the home then this is the place to go. Take a van though, you will probably need it!

Manchester. The Northern Quarter.

This week we took Ada Rose and Betty & Walter for a road trip reconnaissance up north. It went something like this;

London to Tarporley (lovely evening in the Swan Inn)

Tarporley to Wilmslow, Wilmslow to Knutsford, Knutsford to Alderley Edge, Alderley Edge to Didsbury, then to Chorlton, then to Manchester City where we parked up and had 40 winks, then off to the gritty, inspirational, cool and fantastical Northern Quarter of Manchester for breakfast (poached eggs and fried tomatoes) in the Koffee Pot

www.thekoffeepot.co.uk DELICIOUS.

Then we had an hour or two on foot checking out the area, with me (finally away from being behind the wheel of the car) snapping away with my camera (posted pics below).

Then back to London via Chester (sorry Shrewsbury, we ran out of time this trip!)
